Why the name Forty-Eight? Because 1948 was the year of the first peanut tank and this bike pays homage to that
now iconic style.
The new Forty-Eight motorcycle combines fat custom tyres with an all-steel, 7.95 litre peanut fuel tank and a solo
seat, hitting the streets as an urban brawler with a very definite attitude. It makes a styling statement that could
only come from Harley-Davidson.
The Forty-Eight also features a slammed speedometer, under the bar mounted mirrors, 710mm seat height and
blacked-out, polished powertrain. It’s a raw and radical custom right out of the crate.
